Our Approach

CAL offers holistic leadership coaching tailored to the African context and its indigenous knowledge systems. Through a deep understanding of socio-cultural factors, our programmes help leaders grow  personally, professionally and collectively (within their stakeholder communities). To embed this, CAL works with coaches that are experienced in the African context. Using values mapping and analysis, CAL’s research team embed rigorous and robust methodologies for all its coaching programmes.

The CAL approach uses African-sensitive coaching principles backed by research, such as storytelling, narratives and systemic constellations and promotes the following principles:
